World Fathers Union relies entirely upon its members for its strength. We have no offices, no employees, no funding. We are our members, and they are the Union.

We do not charge dues or solicit donations. We ask only that members contribute to the group effort by volunteering their time and skills to help accomplish our goals. We understand that fathers fighting for their children in the courts are already suffering under the crippling financial load of maintaining their court cases. We understand also that they sometimes have little time to spare. We ask from each member only what he can give, nothing more.

Some of the things our members can do to help are listed below, but this list is not all-inclusive. The World Fathers Union is constantly growing through suggestions and ideas of members from all over the world.

As a member you could:

• become a Project SPOTLIGHT researcher
• help develop press contacts in your region
• help gather information and write articles for our News page
• become a Father's Helper to counsel and console other fathers in distress
• help with webpage development or become a forum moderator
• become a regional press spokesman
• become a project file coordinator

Once you become a member, you will also be able to post on The Father's Tale forum.

The cloak of anonymity

Like that of any social reform group, our work is sometimes dangerous. By its very nature, Project SPOTLIGHT targets some of the most powerful people in society and exposes their unlawful abuse of that power. We cannot morally put our members or their children at risk of retributive attacks from judges before whom they may have to appear...but we cannot ethically let the threat of retribution stop us from investigating and exposing those same judges. Justice itself, and the principles for which it stands, forbids it.

To resolve this dichotomy, we have adopted a policy of cloaking all members' identities in the anonymity of the Union itself. All investigative reports released to the press will always be issued in the name of the Union; the names of the researchers or coordinators who worked on the file will never appear in any report.

Become a member. Help make the world better for our children, and for theirs.

If you want help from us, we need help from you. Please join other fathers the world over, working to make the justice system equitable. There is much that you can do. And there is much that must be done.

World Fathers Union is an all-volunteer research and outreach NGO. We work to foster cooperation and unity amongst fathers-aid groups worldwide working for equity in the family courts of all nations. We do statistical research, compilation, and analysis of trends in social and legislative policy affecting fathers and children, and we provide outreach programs to fathers and children in distress worldwide. Membership in the Union is free, anonymous, and open to everyone.
